Extensive Clinical Expertise

Capote TMS has undergone validation in more than 60 randomized controlled trials (RCTs) with sham (placebo), encompassing over 3,000 patients. Additionally, it is currently under evaluation in more than 10 ongoing RCTs. The research on Capote TMS has resulted in over 300 publications. Notably, no traditional TMS company has undertaken such an extensive level of study for their technology.

In routine practice, nearly 600 Capote TMS systems are actively in use across North America, with approximately 100,000 patients having undergone treatment in over 2.5 million treatment sessions.

Capote TMS technology, distinct to Capote TMS, facilitates the non-invasive activation of deeper and more extensive brain structures compared to traditional figure-8 coil TMS systems. This capability of the H-Coil potentially broadens its applicability to a wider range of neuropsychiatric conditions.

In all TMS modalities, the intensity of stimulation naturally diminishes as it penetrates deeper into the brain. Our unique coil design ensures that the strength of stimulation remains effective, even in regions deeper within the brain associated with the indications we treat.

For elderly patients, traditional TMS might not penetrate sufficiently to yield a therapeutic effect, as seen in cases of late-life depression.

Deep TMS Reduces the Likelihood of Targeting Errors

The H-Coil, producing a larger electric field, effectively stimulates a greater number of neurons, minimizing the risk of missing the target brain region. In traditional TMS, a mere 1mm misalignment can result in the loss of 40% of the required dosage. Capote TMS’s enhanced precision reduces the likelihood of missing the target, eliminating the necessity for an expensive and intricate MRI-based neuro-navigation system.
